Hazrat Talhah bin Ubaidullah

Hazrat Abu Muhammad, Talhah bin Ubaidullah bin Uthman, al Taymi, al Qurashi, al Madani, was the companion of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). He was a brave and one of the ten promised Paradise of Sahaba. He was one of eight companions to embrace Islam first.
Hazrat Talhah bin Ubaidullah (may allah be pleased with him) was born on 28 BH, 596 CE.
Ibn e Asakir said that he was one of the most intelligent and learned members of the clan of Quraish. He and Hazrat Abu Bakr al Siddiq were called: “Two Consorts”, because once Naufil bin Harith (who was the most hostile to Islam in Quraish) saw him, after his acceptance of Islam, that he and Hazrat Abu Bakr were coming out from Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), and then Naufil bin Harith captured them and tied them with a rope.
His was given the title of “Beneficent, and Generous” by Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) on several occasions.
He faught the battle of Uhud and was among the Sahaba, who were with Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) when there was the stampede during the battle by the rumour that Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) had been martyred. In this battle, Hazrat Talhah (may Allah be pleased with him) was hit twenty four bruises, but he was saved and fought the battle of the Trench and other battles with Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
He was a trademan, and his trade was run with Iraq. He spent his wealth on the members of his clan, Bani Taym and gave everyone, their livings.
He was martyred in the battle of the Camel, while he was with Hazrat Ayesha bint Abi Bakr Al Siddiq, in 36 AH, 656 CE. and was buried in the City of Basara. He narrated 38 Hadithes from Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
